THE OSPREYS on Loch Earn and can often be seen fishing on the loch at most parts of the day and then roosting in the trees by Edinample Castle with their catches. A very distinctive bird, it is an awesome sight to see them plunging into the water. All this can be seen from your cottages. It's a lovely time of the year to be in Scotland and you have the countryside to yourself with the great feeling of freedom and with such lovely fresh air, it's a great alternative to city life. When you get back to your cottage and draw the curtains, the wonderful experience of lighting the wood burner, a nice meal and relax with a book or simply watch the TV. What could be better??
